Since uploading my first design to Spoonflower in 2020, I have become somewhat addicted to the process of curating designs for my growing shop. Lately, my goal has been to rework my most popular designs into ‘Wallpaper Scale,’ which is a fun and rewarding project. What I mean by ‘Wallpaper Scale’ is that the designs are scaled up considerably, until they’re large enough to look good as a wall-covering. Some of my best performing designs are my terrazzos, so I decided to give them the wallpaper treatment.
My Terrazzo design is now available in Wallpaper Scale in four colorways: Pastel, Earth, Bright, and Dark. You can shop the mini-collection here.
These designs are also available on a variety of home decor products, from cocktail napkins, tea towels, even bedding and blankets! The larger scale is really perfect for a teenager’s room or a pop of something bold and fun in a bathroom or lonely accent wall in your home! I think the ‘Earth’ version would look so cute as a drawer liner, too!
I may be partial, but the ‘Earth’ version is my favorite of the four color ways. It is fun and bold while being grounded and neutral. (Yes, I know our ideas of ‘neutral’ might be different 😆) and I’m dying to see it come to life!
Terrazzo ‘Dark,’ is the perfect accent for a lounge area, play room, or quirky home office space.
If you are looking for a smaller scale to sew with, check out my Terrazzo Fabric Collection here.
If you’re looking for an easy-to-use (and remove) Peel and Stick Wallpaper, I can highly recommend Spoonflower’s Peel and Stick Removable Woven wallpaper. I have used it in a previous home office (see the post here but don’t judge my wallpaper design skills…they have improved!) and my Mother-In-Law has used it in her yoga studio. It is self-adhesive, adjustable, and removable, as well as eco-friendly, Formaldehyde-, phthalate-, and PVC-free. I mean, you can’t get much better than that!
Where would you use this wallpaper in your home? I would love to know!
